Site by Email is a managed website service for small businesses. I build the site, host it, keep it maintained, and make routine changes when the owner emails me. There is no website builder to learn, no plugins to update, and no dashboard to log in to.

Who it is for

It fits owners who want a professional online presence without adding website upkeep to their week. Local service businesses are the typical customer: roofers, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, garage door repair, fencing, flooring, appliance repair, drywall, house cleaning, and landscaping.

It is not a fit for everyone, and the site says so:

• If you want to edit your site yourself every week, a DIY builder is a better choice.
• Online stores, paid memberships, and large custom web apps are outside the normal monthly scope and are quoted separately.

What you get

• A brochure-style site built around the pages most small businesses need: home, about, services, contact, FAQ, and similar sections.
• Hosting and maintenance included, so nothing gets left behind.
• Pages that read well on phones, tablets, and desktops.
• Updates by email. Need to change your hours, services, photos, or text? Send an email.

Plans start at $59 a month. They differ by size and turnaround: up to 10 pages with routine updates within 4 business days, up to 20 pages within 2 business days, or up to 50 pages with priority updates within 1 business day.

How it is built

The sites are generated from strict, structured content files by a static-site generator I maintain. Each site is plain HTML served from Cloudflare's edge network, so there is no database or CMS to patch, and pages load quickly. Every build is validated before it goes live, including checks that all links between pages resolve.

The Site by Email marketing site is built on the same stack it sells. Its examples page shows several theme styles (corporate, friendly modern, heritage local, workshop, and more) applied to fictional sample businesses.
