Is Site Down?
Check whether a website is down for everyone or just you, with probes from multiple regions, response times, and the HTTP status. No account, no logging.
Is Site Down? answers one question quickly: is a website down for everyone, or just for you?
How it works
Enter a URL and the site is probed from servers in several regions around the world. For each check you get:
- whether the site responded,
- how long it took to respond, and
- the HTTP status code that came back.
Seeing the results side by side tells you whether an outage is global, regional, or most likely on your end, such as your network, DNS, or browser.
Privacy
There is no account and no logging. The only thing sent is the URL you asked about.
Built for quick checks
Popular sites are preloaded as shortcuts, so a check during the next big outage takes one tap. The interface is available in a few dozen languages.
When it helps
- A site will not load and you want to know whether to wait or troubleshoot.
- You run a website and want a quick outside view after a deploy or a DNS change.
- Someone tells you your site is down and you want to confirm it from more than one place.
